Ideal Hotel, Paris

The hotel had a really bad smell in the rooms from old cigarette smoke and a wet carpet, but it was conveniently located with lots of food options around. The service was not great, but it had shuttle service available. The dining experience was very bad, and the facilities were lacking.

The hotel is located close to the metro stations, making it convenient for transportation, but noise from the bar nearby could be disturbing at night. The rooms, while not overly spacious, are suitable for two people, although the staircase access may be challenging. The chlorine smell doesn't give the cleanest impression.

The location of the hotel was really convenient for us, as we were attending a concert at Le Bataclan nearby. Despite the noise from a bar under our window at night, the location was super accessible from Gare du Nord and the city center. However, the rooms had unfortunate issues like a persistent smell of smoke and visible mold, making the stay less pleasant.

The hotel is situated at the top of a narrow and curved staircase. The rooms, although clean, are very limited and small with a smell like corpse and old cigarette smoke saturated in every soft furnishing, along with an undescribable stench of wet carpet. Despite this, the location is nice and reachable, especially for attending events nearby. The dining options, both inside and outside the hotel, are not up to par, but on the bright side, the service is well-organized and offers a paid shuttle service if needed.
